     Never do your officer test schemes on your Commander.  Unless of course the model is really, really cool. I really wanted his longcoat to look as close to leather as possible. It's the only part of the model I took the time to blend. I do like how it turned out, even the back. The medals are basic colored and don't really pop as much as I'd like. He'll be brighter than all the rest to allow him to stand out more.

     Later when more models are complete, I may touch him up and pop him off of the temporary base for something more scenic.  For now, I've got a solid looking HQ to roll with.  I'll work on the rest of his command squad in the next week or so.
