Next Project

I just got back from Adepticon 2011 a couple weekends ago. This event annually is a recharge of all the hobby juices. Seeing so many awesome conversions, terrain, painted armies, and good friends always leaves me inspired. This was my second year on Team Handsome in the 40K Team Tournament. We're 2 for 2 on Team Spirit awards since I've been there, clearly it's me. =)

One of my teammates this year, the "Ironman" Brian Carlson, and I had a hobby inspired conversation. With no events planned for me in the next few months, it's time to focus on something that's going to take some time and love. My resin.

I've got three major projects stored away in the workshop:

The first, is my Death Korps of Krieg army. I've slowly purchased pieces, unit by unit, and stashed them away till it was time to give them the attention they deserved.

The second, is a complete Anphelion Base which I won as first prize in a tournament.

The last, is a Warhound Titan which was given to me as a parting gift from my last job.

All 3 are going to take a hell of a lot of time to do the way I want, so I think this is my priority list. A new army, then a new table to play on, then one hell of a reinforcement.

Marshall Law #47: Hobby project planning is like a New Year's Resolution to Mark Twain: "...now is the accepted time to make your regular annual good resolutions. Next week you can begin paving the road to hell with them as usual."
